22 OCTOBER 2011 - LOS ANGELES HOME TEAMS SIRENS AND TOUGH COOKIES TAKE TO THE BANK ON OCTOBER 22ND

LOS ANGELES DERBY DOLLS HOME TEAM FAVORITES FACE-OFF ON THE BANKED TRACK.

Los Angeles – Saturday, October 22nd will see Los Angeles Derby Dolls most notorious rivals skate face to face on the banked track for some intense, nail biting roller derby.  There has always been a lot of track tension between three time champions Tough Cookies, who have repeatedly snatched the title from the hard hitting Sirens.  However, 2011 has seen a turning of the tables.  Will Sirens add another win to their undefeated season record, ensuring their place in this year’s championship game and showing the Tough Cookies they are going all the way?  Or will Tough Cookies fight back to keep those cops in cookie custody? Come join us at The Doll Factory, located in historic Filipinotown, for a game that should not be missed!

L.A. Derby Dolls events offer a full range of entertainment off the track, with the Vendor Village featuring art, jewelry and clothes, food from Garage Pizza and a variety of food trucks, and natural energy beverages provided by Ex-Drinks.  Tecate beer will be served by Alex’s Bar and The Derby Dolls proudly introduce ready-to-drink Jack Daniel’s bottles as a new sponsor for the 2011 season. Stila cosmetics will be at the games treating our fans to some pampering, as well as additional 2011 season sponsorship from S-One Helmet Company and N101 Nutrition & Health. There will be live musical entertainment at half time and raffle tickets will be sold during the game for a wide selection of prizes.

Tickets are now available to purchase at www.derbydolls.com/la.  General admission tickets are $18 when purchased on line and $20 when bought day in cash day of game; VIP tickets are $40.00. Doors open at 6:00 p.m. and cash sales close at the end of half time.  For those who purchased online tickets, the doors will close at the end of the 3rd quarter.  This is a 21 and over event, featuring beer and wine. LOS ANGELES DERBY DOLLS HOME TEAM FAVORITES WILL DUKE IT OUT ON THE BANKED TRACK.

Los Angeles Saturday, October 1st, L.A. Derby Dolls’ Fight Crew will take to the track, firing death from above on the Varsity Brawlers.  Since their battle against The Swarm, the Varsity Brawlers have been training in overdrive. Now with captain Long Island Lolita and co captain Lace N’ Arsenic back from injury and ready to lead the way, these fearless skaters are anxious to show everyone that the 2011 Championship title is still theirs for the taking.  With their last game being a sensational win over the Tough Cookies, confident and strong Fight Crew are equally determined to fly high above the competition and stake their claim on the title.  With both teams more than hungry for the win, this will be a tense, exciting game filled with hard-hitting athletic action that should not be missed.

LOS ANGELES DERBY DOLLS VERSUS SEATTLE’S TILTED THUNDER RAILBIRDS

SUNDAY, SEPTEMBER 11TH

Los Angeles – Saturday, September 10th, L.A. Derby Dolls Sirens will be playing Arizona Derby Dames’ The Hot Shots from Phoenix, bringing some out of town competition to the Doll Factory.  The Sirens, undefeated so far in 2011, will be looking to add another win to their impressive season, but will Arizona fight back to show the ladies in blue who is really the boss?

While Saturday’s game will be 21+ and serving alcohol, Sunday will see the up and coming derby skaters, training within the L.A. Derby Dolls subpool, go head to head with Seattle’s Tilted Thunder Railbirds in an all ages event.  Half time entertainment will be provided by the L.A. Junior Derby Dolls in a pink and black scrimmage. Unlike other all ages events at the Doll Factory, the L. A. Derby Dolls will host a separate beer garden where all proceeds will go to aid a neighboring derby league, The Bay Area Derby Girls, who were victims of a robbery after their championship game earlier this summer.

20 AUGUST 2011 - LOS ANGELES TOUGH COOKIES FACE OFF AGAINST ORANGE COUNTY’S OC ROLLERGIRLS

LA’S THREE TIME CHAMPIONS WILL DUKE IT OUT ON THE BANKED TRACK AUGUST 20TH.

Los Angeles – Saturday, August 20th LA Derby Dolls welcome neighboring league, Orange County’s OC Rollergirls.   The OC Rollergirls head north to the Doll Factory to face off against three time champions, the Tough Cookies.  Will the Cookies turn their luck for the 2011 season, or will the newly banked track OC Rollergirls take a win against the reigning champions in this friendly game?  OC Rollergirls roster includes former LA Sirens' co-captain, P.I.T.A along side of former Tough Cookie, the hard-hitting Krissy Krash.  With the return of these past LA Derby Dolls to the Factory, this promises to be an exciting game with a lot of love, sweat and bruises.
