LA’S THREE TIME CHAMPIONS WILL DUKE IT OUT ON THE BANKED TRACK AUGUST 20TH.
Los Angeles – Saturday, August 20th LA Derby Dolls welcome neighboring league, Orange County’s OC Rollergirls. The OC Rollergirls head north to the Doll Factory to face off against three time champions, the Tough Cookies. Will the Cookies turn their luck for the 2011 season, or will the newly banked track OC Rollergirls take a win against the reigning champions in this friendly game? OC Rollergirls roster includes former LA Sirens' co-captain, P.I.T.A along side of former Tough Cookie, the hard-hitting Krissy Krash. With the return of these past LA Derby Dolls to the Factory, this promises to be an exciting game with a lot of love, sweat and bruises.
L.A. Derby Dolls events offer a full range of entertainment off the track, with the Vendor Village featuring art, jewelry and clothes, food from Garage Pizza and a variety of food trucks, and natural energy beverages provided by Ex-Drinks. Tecate beer will be served by Alex’s Bar and The Derby Dolls proudly introduce ready-to-drink Jack Daniel’s bottles as a new sponsor for the 2011 season. Stila cosmetics will be at the games treating our fans to some pampering, as well as additional 2011 season sponsorship from S-One Helmet Company and N101 Nutrition & Health. There will be live musical entertainment at half time and raffle tickets will be sold during the game for a wide selection of prizes.
Tickets are now available to purchase at www.derbydolls.com/la. General admission tickets are $20; VIP tickets are $40.00. Doors open at 6:00 p.m. and close at the end of half time. This is a 21 and over event, featuring beer and wine. The Doll Factory is located at 1910 Temple St., Los Angeles, CA 90026 (between Alvarado and Union). General parking is available for $8 at Silver Lake Medical Center, 1711 West Temple (near the intersection of Temple and Union), one block east of the Doll Factory.
