L.A. DERBY DOLLS START THE 2011 SEASON WITH ALL-STAR BLOWOUT ON SATURDAY JANUARY 22nd

The 2011 L.A. Derby Dolls season is about to get off to an explosive start with a weekend full of banked track roller derby action.  On Saturday January 22nd, the Ri-Ettes, L.A. Derby Dolls All-Star team, will take on Team Legit, a team made up of West Coast flat track All-Star skaters, at the Doll Factory in LA’s historic Filipinotown.  And on Sunday January 23rd, the Varsity Brawlers will bout against Rat City Rollergirls’ Grave Danger in an event that’s open to all ages, with a special half-time bout by the L.A. Jr. Derby Dolls.

Season tickets for the rest of our regular season bouts are still available for a limited time at www.derbydolls.com/seasontickets.

Tickets are now available to purchase at http://derbydolls.com/tickets/.  For the January 22nd Ri-Ettes/Legit bout, general admission tickets are $20; VIP tickets are $40.00. Doors open at 6:00 p.m. and close at half time.  This is a 21 and over event, featuring beer and wine.  Tickets for Sunday’s VB/ Grave Danger bout are $10 adult general admission, $5 for children, and $20 for adult VIP and $10 for children’s VIP.  Doors open at 3:00 pm. The Doll Factory is located at 1910 Temple St., Los Angeles, CA 90026 (between Alvarado and Union). General parking is available for $8 at Silver Lake Medical Center, 1711 West Temple (near the intersection of Temple and Union), one block east of the Doll Factory. Please have your ID, leave your cameras/recording devices at home, and note that all concessions and most vendors accept cash only.
