Big Sunday!

On Saturday, May 10, 2014, the Los Angeles Derby Dolls will be hosting a skate clinic for Big Sunday working with the Children of the Night organization. Children of the Night fosters young girls that have been rescued from prostitution and is something that the Derby Dolls support and believe in helping out.  Every year a talented group of skaters spend a day coaching, skating with, and mentoring the children with special attention on the empowerment that can be found through a strong female sport such as roller derby! 

The Los Angeles Derby Dolls’ community service has become a huge part of what the league stands for. We take great pride in the work we’ve done over the years. This will be the 6th year supporting Big Sunday and the 5th years working with Children of the Night. As a league, we look forward to many more!
